In an exclusive interview with MAGS4TEENS, Teen Idol Devon Werkheiser graciously shared his past, present and future. Devon said he first started acting at a community theater in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of six. His first big role was Baby Bear, in a production of Goldilocks. The thrill of acting lead him to do commericals and a couple of movie roles before he moved to Hollywood. It didn't take long before he got his big break: Ned Bigby in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide on Nickelodeon. Devon says the best part of working on the show is "Hanging out with my castmates. We are all best friends." When Devon isn't acting, he's playing guitar, playing XBOX360 or working on his upcoming album. He says the album is most likely to be out by late spring of 2008. Devon says the album will be about everything in life, with a big emphasis on girls. Devon confirmed that he and Nickelodeon have been talking about making a movie about doing a Ned's High School TV series. He also denied rumors that a movie is in the works with Mitchel Musso. One of his recent made-for-TV movies was "Shredderman Rules". Devon spoke to MAGS4TEENS in the VIP area for the Mother Goose Parade in El Cajon, CA. Click here for the photos. He not only had time to answer my questions, but he happily posed for photos with fans, signed autographs and gave the girls something to remember him by: a winning smile. You can read more about Devon in magazines like Nick Magazine.
